HEADSTONE CANNABIS | LAMB OF GOD - SATIVA | 7g

Friends back in Alberta have been telling me about Headstone for a while, so I've been waiting for this one to land in Ontario. Lamb of God is their in-house cross of Lambs Bread and Super Lemon Haze, craft grown, hand trimmed, and slow cured. Old-school Lambs Bread genetics don't come around often these days, and that alone had me excited.

My bag was mostly one huge nug, almost 5 grams on its own, plus a couple of smaller buds, with a Boveda pack tucked in to protect the terps. Sticky doesn't quite cover it. This stuff made a proper mess of my grinder, and I mean that as a compliment.

I'll be honest about the nose: I found it more muted than I expected. There's a hint of lemon peel from the limonene, but the sharp citrus on the label didn't jump out of the bag for me.

The burn is where it won me back. Rolled into a joint, it built a beautiful resin ring and burned down to a light grey, almost white ash. The citrus the nose was hiding showed up on the inhale, and the smoke stayed smooth the whole way through. The feel was a treat too: uplifting and pleasant. I pay close attention with strong sativas because they can get a bit racy for me, and this one never went there. No couch-lock either.

At 33% THC, this is not a starter flower, so take it slow. The 7g format means you're not rationing it. The nose didn't blow me away, but the smoke and the feel more than made up for it. Worth the wait.
