Part-Time Budtender

We are passionate about cannabis and dedicated to providing a top-tier retail experience for our community. If you share our love of cannabis, culture and customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

POSITION TYPE: Part-time, primarily evenings and weekends

LOCATION: 16 High Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario

About the role

Budtenders are the whole show at Ingram and Sons. You'll help regulars grab their usual, walk first-timers through the wall of options without making it feel like homework, and keep the shop running smooth on evening and weekend shifts. If you like people, know your way around weed (or want to), and think retail work should pay a real wage, keep reading.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and help them find what they're after
  • Talk products: flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, drinks, and hash, each on its own merits
  • Ring up sales on the POS and handle cash accurately
  • Check ID for everyone (19+, no exceptions)
  • Keep us onside with AGCO and Ontario cannabis rules
  • Keep the store clean, stocked, and looking sharp
  • Pitch in on inventory counts and stock rotation

Requirements

  • 19 or older (that one's the law)
  • CannSell certified, or willing to get certified before your first shift
  • Available evenings and weekends
  • Retail or customer service experience is a plus
  • Cannabis knowledge helps, but curiosity and a willingness to learn count for more
  • Solid English; French is a real asset here, a lot of our customers speak it

Pay and perks

We're a Certified Ontario Living Wage Employer at the Champion level, which means everyone on the team earns a living wage, not just what the law requires. This role pays $22.20 an hour. You'll also get a staff discount, a small crew that has your back, and room to grow: we promote from inside.
