The Kitchen

The Kitchen is a craft cannabis brand out of British Columbia's Okanagan, grown in a micro facility at the base of the Monashee Mountains and watered from a source on their own property. The team behind it came up through legacy growing, and the operation reads that way: small runs, close attention, and no interest in cutting corners to make volume. Every batch is hang dried, hand trimmed, hand packed and never irradiated. That last part matters more than most people realise. Irradiation is a standard sterilisation step in a lot of large-scale cannabis production, and it takes the delicate terpenes down with it. Skipping it is why The Kitchen's jars still smell like the plant did in the room. The lineup runs to dried flower, pre-rolls and blunts, with cultivars like Kadillac Rainbow (a Pure Michigan x Rntz cross with ripe berry, creamy gas and a bit of spice), Red Velvet Cookies, OKGN Peach and Cherry Chemtrail. The A La Carte pre-roll pack rotates through whatever the team is proudest of that run, which makes it a good way into the brand if you're new to it.
